The lost art of pen pal
There was a time when the internet didn’t exist and the most prominent method of communication was through mail. In hopes of discovering a new skill, I discovered pen pal writing. After researching the proper way to send a letter, what postage was required, and even secret ways to fold letters, I have found a simple formula to a successful mail parcel. Below is my advice!
First know who you’re writing to; it makes the letter seem more genuine.
Next, write a traditional letter to the correspondent of the letter, be sure to be creative and include questions that they can answer back to.
Finally, add a special touch and send them things like leaves, playlists, books you reccomend, drawings, stickers, etc.
Pen pal-ing isn’t as hard as you think!
